Iommi Gives Dio Health Update
Guitarist Tony Iommi recently offered an update on the status of singer Ronnie James Dio to the Birmingham Post.
Speaking to Andy Coleman from the publication's website, the Black Sabbath and Heaven & Hell musician offered an optimistic outlook for Dio, who was recently diagnosed with early stage stomach cancer.
"Ronnie's doing better, he's been responding well to treatment. He's very positive and has been in the studio in LA this week doing a bit of singing. He has to fly to Dallas (from his home in L.A.) for chemotherapy every two weeks and has injections daily in his stomach."
