HUNTSVILLE ISD HOLDS LIVE-STREAMED REGULAR BOARD MEETING TONIGHT

The Huntsville ISD Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting tonight at six at the Hawkins Administration Building.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be live streamed on the Huntsville ISD webpage.

Regarding public comment, anyone wishing to speak may do so during the public comments section of the agenda. Comments should pertain to public education and limited to 3 minutes on agenda topics. The Board will not respond or answer questions during the meeting.

To address the Board, email your name, address, telephone number and topic to be addressed to sodom@huntsville-isd.org no later than five this evening. Instructions on joining the meeting will be emailed prior to the beginning of the meeting.

Tonight’s “Consent Agenda” includes, approval of a waiver on out-of-district tuition; the agreement with the Boys and Girls Club for the coming school year; YMCA contract renewal 2020-2023 and approval of a substitute van purchase.

Also tonight, the Board will consider approval of the 2020 Summer Program; bus purchases and the purchase of desks and chairs for Stewart Elementary School.

Superintendent, Dr. Scott Sheppard, will present the Long-Range Committee Report.
