WILLIS ISD CALLS FOR BOND ELECTION

The Courier reports that the Willis Independent School District’s Long Term Planning Committee has called for a $175 million bond election scheduled for May 2nd. It will include three propositions that include new facilities for sports and a new pre-kindergarten center.

Referred to as Proposition B, it contains a new stadium at a cost of $50 million, a relocation of the of the school’s softball and baseball fields for $9.6 million, also $2.2 million for a new track to be relocated and $550,000 for tennis.
