ROBBERS CHASED BY POLICE FOLLOWING INCIDENT AT WALMART EARLY SATURDAY MORNING

According to a story in the Huntsville Item this morning, about one in the morning Saturday Walmart management in Huntsville contacted police that two people, identified as 33-year-old Leah Hensley of Montgomery and 40-year-old Louis Hardin, Jr. of Trinity, took off with around $3,000 worth of goods from their store. On their way out, they were reported to have shoved a store employee out of the way.

Huntsville PD Sergeant Jeremy Carroll chased the couple for a short time before pulling them over. Not only was the merchandise recovered, but also a gram of methamphetamine. The driver in the incident, Ms, Hensley, was being held at the Walker County Jail under a $65,000 bond for evading arrest, robbery and possession of a controlled substance. Hardin was being held on a charge of robbery and possession of a controlled substance. He was held on $35,000 in bonds.
