MAN ARRESTED AFTER PULLING GUN IN LOCAL NIGHT CLUB

According to a story in the Huntsville item, early Sunday morning Huntsville PD arrested a man after it is alleged that he threatened a man with a gun at Shenanigans and Confetti’s Beach Club.

Following a description of the man, police saw a man answering to the description enter a blue Mercedes in the club’s parking lot.

Turning on their lights in the 1700 block of 11th Street in following the suspect, they were not able to stop the car until near the 1600 block of Normal Park Road. Upon search of the vehicle, a pistol was reported to have been found behind the passenger’s seat.

According to the story, the suspect, identified buy police as Jermaine Jenkins, has a previous felony arrest. Jenkins was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest.

At the time the story was published, the suspect was being held in the Walker County Jail with bonds set at $28,500.
