For our Montgomery County area listeners, Home Instead Senior Care® Office serving Montgomery County is inviting the community to come together to provide blankets and holiday cheer to seniors who may be isolated from friends or family this holiday season through its Be a Santa to a Senior® program. Thousands of seniors have received blankets in the 13 years of this program, last year alone almost 400 blankets were donated to local seniors.

Be a Santa to a Senior is a true community program, getting generous support from area businesses, nonprofit organizations, retailers, numerous volunteers and members of the community. The local Home Instead Senior Care office has partnered with local home health companies, Hospice, groups at Montgomery High School, local Boy Scout troops and other local organizations to help collect the blankets

It’s easy to help out. Just drop off a new blanket or donation at Home Instead Senior Care office at 111 Rhodes St, Conroe, during normal business hours.  Blankets will be collected from now until December 12th.  There’s no need to worry about wrapping — community volunteers and program partners will wrap and deliver the blankets to local seniors in time for the holidays.
